The style named after the knit waistcoat favoured by James Brudenell – also known as the 7th Earl of Cardigan – has since become a staple of a modern man's wardrobe, worn by students, royals and rock stars in equal measure. This version gets a playful Polo update with an artistic collage of stripes, cable layouts and signature patches.

Details- Regular Fit: wider at the chest while still maintaining a modern silhouette.
- Size medium has a 69.2 cm body length (front and back), a 44.5 cm shoulder, a 110.5 cm chest and a 62.9 cm sleeve length. Sleeve length changes 1.3 cm between sizes.
- V-neck. Five-button placket. Corozo buttons.
- Long sleeves with twill elbow patches. Striped rib-knit cuffs.
- "Polo Ralph Lauren RLFC" crest on the left chest. "P" patch on the right chest.
- Left waist slip pocket. Right waist patch pocket.
- Rib-knit left hem. Banded right hem and back hem.
- Wool (exclusive of decoration).
