The inaugural collaboration of the Ralph Lauren Artist in Residence programme honours Navajo heritage and centuries-old weaving traditions
Over the past two years, Naiomi Glasses, a seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) textile artist and designer, worked with Ralph Lauren and his design teams to reimagine the original designs of her woven art into a collection of three drops. Drop 2: Colour in Motion reflects Naiomi’s love of skateboarding and her artistic evolution into colourful weavings

The Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses collection honours Navajo heritage and centuries-old weaving traditions. Naiomi Glasses is a seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) textile artist and designer whose work reflects the beauty of her Indigenous culture. Mirroring her personal weaving journey, the collection transitions from earthy, neutral hues to a crescendo of bright colours in this second drop, additionally influenced by her love of skateboarding. Custom-developed specially for this capsule, these unisex jeans are garment-dyed in a vibrant turquoise hue and treated for a perfectly broken-in look.

Details- The fit of this unisex style is based on our standard men's sizing. We suggest that customers who usually order Polo Ralph Lauren women's clothing order two waist sizes larger than their usual size.
- For example, if you usually order a women's size 27, we suggest ordering a size 29 when purchasing this style. Male-presenting model is 185 cm and wears a size 32W x 32L. Female-presenting model is 178 cm and wears a size 27W x 30L.
- The Heritage Rider: An authentic fit inspired by a vintage Western silhouette. Features a higher rise and is slim through the thigh. Kicks out at the leg opening to accommodate a boot. Size 32W has a 27.3 cm rise and a 45.1 cm leg opening.
